Cedar Bluff Firefighters Respond To Four Accidents Over The Weekend

At approximately 2:00 p.m. Saturday Cedar Bluff Firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle accident on the causeway.

A utility trailer came loose from a passing vehicle and an 18 wheeler was unable to avoid it.

There were no injuries in the accident but traffic was backed up for about an hour while crews removed the vehicle.

During the initial accident a second accident occurred approximately one half a mile down the road. No injuries were reported in that mishap either. Cedar Bluff Police and Alabama State Troopers also responded.

A third vehicle accident took place approximately 9:00 pm on County Road 44. One vehicle left the roadway and overturned coming to a rest on its top. There was only one occupant and he fortunately escaped injury.

Cedar Bluff Fire Departments units also responded to a report of a four vehicle accident occurring on Highway 9 near County Road 80 in Sunday afternoon. According to reports there were fortunately no injuries.

Cedar Bluff Police, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers also responded.
