The 2020 Cherokee County football jamboree is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20 at Cedar Bluff. The jamboree will feature the host Tigers, Sand Rock, Spring Garden, North Sand Mountain and Plainview.

Admission is $5. According to Cedar Bluff principal Rusty Thrasher, masks will be required to enter and seating capacity will be no more than 50 percent, possibly less, because of COVID-19. The seating capacity is subject to change.

Each scrimmage will be two quarters with 15 minutes of running clock until the last two minutes, which will be timed regular. There will be no kickoffs.

The ball will be in play at the 35-yard line to begin each each half or after a score.

The action kicks off at 5:30 p.m., with Sand Rock taking on North Sand Mountain, followed by the Bison and Spring Garden at approximately 6:15 p.m. Spring Garden will then take on Plainview at approximately 7 p.m. Cedar Bluff takes on Plainview in the final scrimmages of the evening. The varsity teams take on each other at approximately 7:45 p.m., with the B-teams battling each other at 8:30 p.m.

5:30: Sand Rock vs N. Sand Mountain (2 Qtrs)
6:15: Spring Garden vs N. Sand Mountain (2 Qtrs)
7:00: Spring Garden vs Plainview A-team (2 Qtrs)
7:45: Cedar Bluff vs Plainview A-team (2 Qtrs)
8:30: Cedar Bluff vs Plainview B-team (2 Qtrs)
