Cedar Bluff K-9 Jagger Assists In The Arrest Of Two Rome Residents On Drug Charges During A Traffic Stop

Two Rome residents were arrested on various drug charges on Thursday following a traffic stop at the Country Store in Cedar Bluff. Cedar Bluff Police Chief Steve Walden, K-9 Officer Chris Vaughn and K-9 Jagger conducted that stop.

K-9 Jagger hit on the vehicle and a subsequent search turned up a small amount of Methamphetamine and a pipe in addition to a quantity of prescription pills. 46 year old Cynthia Kay Rendon of Rome and 28 year old Cortez Eugene Holloway also of Rome were arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Prescription Pills.

Both currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center without bond.
