A Cherokee County man was air-lifted for treatment, after his vehicle struck a parked van during the early morning hours of Sunday.
According to the Alabama State Trooper accident report 56 year old Gary Don Hudgins of Cedar Bluff was injured when his 2001 Hyundai hit a parked 1979 Chevy Van on County Road 22, just after 1:00am.
The van was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
Hudgins was flown to UAB for treatment – no additional information has been made available in regard to his condition.
That accident remains under investigation.
