A 38 year old Cherokee County resident was arrested on Thursday, and charged with violating the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act.
Jesse Lee Trotter was booked into jail just after 10:30 that morning, charged with the SORNA violations, three counts – with bond being set at $30,000.
According to the sex offender registration information listed on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website Trotter resides at 2325 County Road 82 in Cedar Bluff – and is required to register as a sex offender due to a Georgia Code 16-6-4/Child Molestation offense, which occurred in 1998.
