The town council recently approved the paving of Money’s Bend Road at a cost of $43,000. Mayor Tammy Crane said that the town has paved a total of seven roads since she took office, the first roads that have been paved in the town in many years.

Mayor Crane did say that they are banking money from the half cent increase in sales tax to use toward road and street repairs.

Cedar Bluff resident Joan Page also addressed the council concerning the possible location of an impound lot at the intersection of Old Highway 9 and Spring Street, Mayor Crane said that no definite decision has been made in regards to what will go on the lot and that there are optional locations for the impound lot.
