The Cedar Bluff Town Council held their regular meeting on Monday evening.
Items approved on the agenda included a request from the Cedar Bluff Planning Commission for a rezoning request from Troy Giles. The Council also approved a camper permit for Ron McCranie.
In other business, the Council approved a Utility Board Garbage Billing Contract. The Council also approved up to $100,000 to be spent for road paving projects, Mayor Tammy Crane said that the Town would be using Wiregrass Construction who is already going to be in the area doing roadwork for the County Highway Department.
Mayor Crane also said that there would no Liberty Day Festivities this year but would still have fireworks over the water on July 3rd.
The Council also approved the minutes from the March, 2021 meetings, approved financial statements for March, 2021 and received the police department report for March.
The next Cedar Bluff Council meeting will take place on April 27th in the Cedar Bluff Community Center.
