Cedar Bluff Town Council Passes Ordinance Reestablishing Municipal Court System

The Town of Cedar Bluff is taking measures to restore its Municipal Court System – during the Council’s regular meeting on Tuesday Town Clerk Susie Surrett read aloud a ten page Resolution proposing the measure.

With the measure passing unanimously, the town can now move forward with the process, Mayor Tammy Crane told WEIS Radio News that the Ordinance would not take effect until sometime after the first of the year.

In other business the Council received reports from the Police, Fire and Building Departments – nearing the end of the meeting, Councilman Dewayne Agan presented each of the Council Members with a Proposed Ordinance pertaining to “Dangerous Animals” Councilman Agan explains –

The council agreed to further review the issue and will discuss it at the next Town Council meeting.

A Special Called Meeting of the Cedar Bluff Town Council has been set for Thursday, October 16 at 5:30 to discuss the Proposed Budget.
