Cedar Bluff Town Council Will Hold An ‘Employee Due Process’ Hearing On Monday

The Cedar Bluff Town Council is set to hold a special called meeting on Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Cedar Bluff Town Hall.

The purpose of the meeting will be to conduct an employee due process hearing.

During their most recent meeting, following a 50-minute executive session – the Cedar Bluff Town Council re-convened the regular meeting and immediately Mayor Tammy Crane requested that the Council vacate the Office of Police Chief, effective immediately.

The motion was then made, with a second, to vacate the office with the council voting unanimously for approval of the motion.

Cedar Bluff Police Chief Chris O’Neal was present at that meeting.

We’ll be at that special called meeting and will have an update on Monday.
