Cedar Bluff Woman Arrested For Shoplifting In Chattooga County

A Cedar Bluff woman was arrested in Chattooga County last week and charged with shoplifting.

According to a report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to Wal-Mart in Trion after loss-prevention employees said that a 27 year-old Cedar Bluff woman was seen putting items in her purse that she did not pay for.

Employees with Wal-Mart say that Amanda Michelle Henderson selected items from party supplies and cosmetics before proceeding to infants where she concealed items in her purse. According to the report “Wal-Mart loss prevention stated Ms. Henderson then proceeded to the bakery and selected cupcakes before proceeding to self check out register where she did not pay for the items concealed in her purse prior to exiting the store and passing all points of sale.”

Ms. Henderson was placed under arrest for shoplifting and transported to the Chattooga County Jail.
