Cedar Bluff Woman is Arrested in Georgia for Driving on Suspended License

A Cherokee County woman reportedly made the mistake of lying to deputies just across the state line in Chattooga County, Georgia when she was pulled over at a road block last week.

According to the arrest report that road block was being conducted on Oak Hill Road, when 23 year old Amber Coggins of Cedar Bluff was asked for her driver’s license.  She reportedly told officers she never had a license, however a quick check using Coggins’ social security #, revealed she did indeed have a license BUT it had been suspended by the state of Alabama.

At that point, she was escorted to the Chattooga County Jail.
