Cedar Bluff Woman Arrested In Rome On Drugs/Stolen Weapons Charges

Sherri Lynna Adcock, 60 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested in Rome this week after a traffic stop on Ga 20 near Shorter Industrial Blvd led to officers finding a stolen gun.

Reports stated that Adcock was stopped after they saw her driving erratically. While stopped, officers discovered that she was driving under the influence. A search then resulted in police finding an unmarked pill bottle containing a schedule II controlled substance and a stolen handgun.

Adcock is charged with DUI, drugs not in original container, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and theft by receiving stolen property.
