Cedar Bluff Woman Hurt in Highway 35 Accident Involving 18 Wheeler Tuesday Morning

A Cedar Bluff woman was hurt in an early morning accident involving a passenger car and a big rig on Highway 35 in Cherokee County on Tuesday.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck took place at 5:45am and involved a 2014 Ford driven by 36 year old Stephanie Chapman – listed on that report as being injured in the mishap; and a 2007 Freightliner that was driven by Rigoberto Santillano of Cutler Bay, Florida, who was unhurt.

No additional information concerning the extent of Chapman’s injuries was available. 

That accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
