Cedar Bluff’s baseball season ends at top-ranked Lynn

LYNN – Cedar Bluff’s baseball season ended Friday night at top-ranked Lynn in the first round of the Class 1A state playoffs. The scores were 11-1 and 13-0.

In the first game, Lynn scored three runs in the second inning, two more in the third, five in the fourth and one in the fifth for the final.

Hagen Stallings and Eli McFry had the lone hits for Cedar Bluff. Jared Dasher walked.

In game two, Lynn scored a run in the second, five in the third, six in the fourth and one in the fifth for the final.

Jacob Burleson had the lone Tiger hit in the second game. Kaden Pack walked.

Cedar Bluff finishes the season at 6-12. Lynn (22-2) takes on Hackleburg in next week’s second round.
