The Centre City Council held a Special Called Meeting Tuesday afternoon to approve the 2014-15 Budget they could not come to agreement on during their last regular session.

Mayor Wilkie told the Council he was proud to present them a balanced budget for the coming year.

Wilkie explained increases from the previous year.

Then Councilman Johnson Made a motion to go into executive session to discuss the good character and name to determine whether or not this is the correct route our city needs to go. Each councilman voted in favor which the Mayor should take 15 minutes. After an hour, the Council emerged from the chambers with the Mayor saying the good name and character of a City employee was discussed and that’s all. No action was taken by the Council other than to pass the Budget the Mayor presented and then adjourned
