Centre City Council Meeting For Tuesday, December 14th, 2021

The Centre City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday evening.

Approved items on the agenda included the minutes from the regular meeting on Tuesday, November 9th in addition to the accounts payable for the month.

The council also had brief discussions regarding revised bids for the city pool project and approved Morell Engineering Survey invoice for the new Aquatic Center.

At the request of Councilwoman Kay Davis, the city will be purchasing new ‘winter’ banners for the downtown area.

Approval was granted to a Trammell Construction concrete landscape project change order for the Ed Yarbrough Park invoice.

Mayor Mark Mansfield briefly mentioned an upcoming salary and job description study that will be conducted in the near future by Auburn University, Mayor Mansfield said that this will be an extensive study.

The council also voted to waive the second meeting on December 28th due to the Christmas Holiday.
