During the June 23rd meeting of the Centre City Council Mayor Mark Mansfield made the announcement that city hall would be moving temporarily moving to the new community center. Mansfield said that the move was necessary due to health and safety reasons.
The move is necessary while some structural and other issues are being repaired at the Main Street location.
Centre City Hall will be closed on Monday, August 2nd to move to the community center. Effective Tuesday, August 3rd Centre City Hall will officially be moved to 635 Armory Road.
Mayor Mansfield said that the move will be official until further notice.
