Centre Couple Arrested For Selling Prescription Medications

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, on Tuesday, investigators arrested Norman Blankenship, 76, and Brenda Boyar, 68, both of Centre for selling prescription medications. 

Blankenship was out on bond on charges dealing with prescription pills, and a judge recently revoked the bond and issued a warrant for his arrest. 

Blankenship is charged with 2 new counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, and Boyar is charged with 1 count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. 

Blankenship and Boyar were both transported by deputies to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
