A Centre man was arrested for attempting to elude officers on foot following a domestic situation on Saturday afternoon.
Chief Deputy Josh Summerford said that Deputies responded to a report of Domestic Violence on County Road 34 where they arrived to find 46 year old Janssen Layne Jordan on the ground involved in a fight. When Jordan saw patrol cars he began to flee but was quickly apprehended by Lt. Bo Jolly.
Jordan was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of Attempting to Elude Police and Domestic Violence 3rd Degree.
His bond has been set at $4000.
