A Cherokee County man was behind bars in Floyd County, Georgia after he reportedly stole a car from a Centre auto dealer.
Charles David Blalock, 33, of a County Road 22 address in Centre, was pulled over Tuesday, on Veteran’s Memorial Highway in Rome, after being clocked doing 71 in a 55; that officer noticed there was no tag on the Mustang, and further investigation revealed, that the driver had taken the car for a test drive – he just didn’t bother to return it.
Blalock was taken into custody and charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle in addition to speeding.
