Centre Man Being Held In Etowah County For Theft/Burglary Expected To Face Similar Charges In Centre

A Centre man currently in jail in Etowah County on Burglary and Theft charges is expected to be arrested on similar charges by the Centre Police Department once released from Etowah County.

According to Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship, 20 year old Logan Hudson Green stand accused of taking cash and firearms from a residence in Centre. After a report was filed, Chief Investigator Randy Mayorga conducted an interview with Green who confessed to taking the property. Green told investigators that he had sold one of the firearms to an individual in Etowah County.

Investigators were able to make contact with the person that Green had sold the gun to and were able to recover the firearm. Mayorga said that once Green is released in Etowah County he will be taken into custody on felony theft charges in Centre.

Green is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center without bond for 3rd Degree Burglary and Theft.
