A Cherokee County man was arrested last Thursday in connection with breaking into boats at Bay Springs.
Brad Eugene Rowland, age 42 of Centre, was charged with Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Vehicle, three counts. He was also arrested on warrants for Failure to Appear for Theft of Property and Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
The crimes took place over the past weekend and were reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Monday, with warrants being signed later in the week.
Rowland remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond yet to be set.
