Cherokee County Sheriff’s investigators recovered a stolen boat Tuesday, and arrested a 47 year old Centre man in connection with the theft. The boat, a 2018 pontoon – was recently reported stolen from a location near Lindsey’s Store. It was recovered from a residence nearby. As a result, Jason Kelly Matthews was charged with Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree.
Matthews was taken into custody by deputies Tuesday afternoon, following a traffic stop in the Moshat Community.
