The Centre Police Department is proud to announce the launch of their new police tip line. The tip line is a tool citizens of Centre can utilize to anonymously contact the police department in order to provide information that is essential to better help and serve the citizens of Centre.

All information given on the tip line is 100% confidential. The department encourages the citizens of Centre to come together and help law enforcement officer’s combat crime in our community.

Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship said that the anonymous tip line is designed for crime prevention which cannot be achieved by law enforcement alone. Law enforcement officers must work hand in hand with the citizens of their community in order to effectively fight crime.

Blankenship went onto say that as law enforcement officers they depend heavily on the citizen’s cooperation in reporting crimes and illegal activities that occur in the community.

The new Centre Police Department Tip Line is provided for the citizens of Centre as a confidential and convenient way of contacting our department. The Centre Police Department Tip Line number is 256-927-5249.
