Centre Police Recover Two Stolen Vehicles

With the assistance of surrounding agencies, the Centre Police Department has recovered two vehicles that a been recently reported stolen.

According to Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship, a 56 Buick Special was recovered by Investigator Randy Mayorga at a location in Jacksonville with the assistance if Investigator Martin with the Jacksonville Police Department.

Chief Blankenship also stated that a 2500 HD Chevy truck was found a location in Sand Rock by  Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jeremy Stepps.

The vehicles were recovered back to back.

Chief Blankenship said that he would like to thank the Jacksonville Police Department and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in these cases.

The investigation surrounding the circumstances of the case is still ongoing.
