The Centre Police Department reports three motor vehicle accidents that occurred over the last couple of days.
A single vehicle accident occurred at 2:20 p.m. Sunday on the Bypass near the Cherokee County Career and Tech School involving a 1998 Jeep Wrangler. The driver, 30 year old Benjamin Wissler of Centre was injured after the vehicle went off an embankment and between two trees.
A second accident occurred at 4:57 p.m. at the intersection of Piedmont Highway and East Main Street involving a 2006 Chevy Suburban driven by 27 year old Christi Harbin of Centre and a 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by 32 year old Crystal Dicks of Wedowee.
Harbin was listed on the report as being injured in the mishap.
At 4:30 a.m. Monday, the driver on a 2015 Freightliner listed on the report as 79 year Thomas Butler of Rome crashed his truck when he pulled out to wide and struck the median.
