Centre Resident Among Three Arrested on Drug Charges in Cave Spring, Georgia

Three people, with one of those being from here in Cherokee County were arrested on drug charges Tuesday, at a home on Hall Minshew Road in Cave Spring.

According to Floyd County Jail records – 47 year old Jimmy Anthony Quinn of the residence was found with over an ounce of methamphetamine during execution of a search warrant.  Officers of the Rome/Floyd Metro Task Force reportedly also found a glass smoking device and bags containing meth.

Quinn is charged with trafficking meth, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Meanwhile Regina Kay Walker, 39 from Centre (Alabama), and Debra Christina Phillips, age 44 of Silver Creek were each charged with the possession of meth and possession of drug-related objects.  Phillips was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and the possession of dangerous drugs after she was found with six different types of prescription drugs (including clonazepam and tramadol).
