A Cherokee County resident was hurt in a one-vehicle accident taking place on County Road 16 Monday at 10:40am.
That wreck involved a 2017 Ford being driven by 19 year old Kaitlyn Coheley of Centre and according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, she did sustain injuries in the mishap, although no details regarding the extent of those injuries were available.
It was noted that she was wearing her seat belt at the time.
That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
