Centre Trio Will Compete In The Battle Rounds On The Voice Tonight

Don’t miss  The Voice tonight at 7! We talked to the girls from Worth the Wait earlier this evening from Los Angeles and they are SUPER excited and VERY appreciative of all the community support from Cherokee County!! #TeamBlake #worththewait

This mother-daughter trio from Alabama originally consisted of three sisters called the Matthews Sisters. The sisters started an impromptu performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” in line at a store one day and an onlooker posted a video of it that went viral. The video catapulted them to popularity and has helped them start booking local gigs. Once the oldest sister, Sadie, left the group to care for her newborn son, their mom took her place and the trio became, Worth the Wait. The girls come to “The Voice” to have fun, but are also planning to prove they’re a triple threat.

We will hear from the Mia, and Jacy in our newscast on Tuesday!

All of us at WEIS and across Cherokee County are cheering on our hometown girls! Good Luck!
