A Centre woman was arrested on a DUI charge following a one-vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 68 Thursday night.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck took place at 8:58pm and involved a 2005 Chevrolet being driven by Mindy Broome, age 29. Broome wasn’t hurt, however according to the accident report, the passenger in her vehicle was. No information including the name of the individual was available – other than the fact that they were listed as having been injured.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website 29 year old Mindy Sue Broome of Centre was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center on a DUI charge at 10:24pm Thursday, with bond being set at $500.
