Ken Blair, Chairman of the Cedar Bluff Utilities Board has resigned effective immediately , Blair submitted his letter of resignation during a Special Called meeting of the Cedar Bluff Town Council on Monday night.

Blair was not able to be there in person due physical health problems but submitted a written copy of his resignation which the council voted to accept.

According Cedar Bluff Mayor Tammy Crane the council will appoint someone to fill temporarily fill that vacancy.

In other business during Monday’s meeting the Council approved an application for an ADECA Grant to be used for an expansion to the Cedar Bluff Park – the total cost of the project will be $48,500 with a local match of $24,150 from the town.

A resolution was also adopted approving a Lease Agreement with AT&T.
