Championship games at the Cherokee County Basketball Tournament will tip off today.

In Varsity Boys action it will be Sand Rock vs Spring Garden. Sand Rock punched their ticket to the championship after posting a 58-43 victory over Cherokee County on Friday night at the Cherokee Arena.

Cade Ballenger finished with 20 points for the Wildcats, Garyn Sharpe added 14 points. For Cherokee County Connor Elrod posted 14 points and Slade Alexander finished the night with 12 points.

Spring Garden defeated Cedar Bluff on Friday night by a final score of 76-33.

Ryley Kirk finished with 21 points for the Panthers, Weston Kirk netted 19 points and Cam Welsh finished with 13 points for the Garden.‪For Cedar Bluff it was Anbre Leek with 11 points, Jacob Gordon with 8 points and Stephen Webb with 4 points.

The Varsity Boys Championship will tip off at 7:00 p.m. with Sand Rock taking on Spring Garden; we will have that game LIVE here on WEIS Radio.
