Mrs. Charlotte Sims Butler, age 80 of Centre passed away Thursday August 27th at Cherokee Assistant Living.
Graveside services will be 3:PM Friday, August 28th at Pleasant Valley #2 Cemetery, with Terry Morris and Joe Wilmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Bret Butler, Harold Pearson, Dennis Green, Jason Green, Dennis Egan, Bobby Oliver.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Money and Steve Pearson.
Survivors include her husband, Kermit “Bug” Butler; son, Jimmy Ray Butler of Centre; daughter, Vickie Butler Reeves of Collinsville; sister, Glenda Sims Green of Fort Payne; grandchildren, Bret Butler, Kale Maddox, Kaci Reeves; great grandchildren, Will Butler, Luke Butler, Grant Maddox; several nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Butler was a native of Etowah County, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Irene Smith Sims and was a member of Sand Rock Church Of Christ.
