Charmion Gail Maddox “Nanny” Twilley, age 74 of Centre, passed away Saturday, May 26th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Wednesday, May 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Foshee officiating; burial will follow in the New Nazareth cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Nathan Wehunt, Jim Hunter, Keith Hill, Colton Pierce, Eric Harper, Dillin Rickman, T.J. Brittain, Leevi Maddox.
Survivors include her husband, Hurman Lee Twilley; sons, Tom (Keri) Maddox, Todd (Andrea) Twilley, Corey (Jessica) Twilley; daughters, Charlia (Tommy) Pierce, Belinda (Dennis) Scott, Melissa (Tim) Brittain, Lori (Mark) Rickman; grandchildren, Lauren (Nathan) Wehunt, Colton (Katlynn) Pierce, Kristen (Eric) Harper, TJ (Whitney) Brittain, Shayla Thorton, Katelyn Rickman, Dillin (Adriene) Rickman, Leevi (Chloe) Maddox, Adia Maddox, Chloe’ Garner, AnnastonTwilley, Brynleigh Twilley; great grandchildren, Phoenix Pierce, Tucker Harper, Bailey Dodds.
Mrs. Twilley was a native of Piedmont, the daughter of the late W.E. and Mildred Dora Tolbert Holbrooks, was retired from Cherokee County Board of Education and was a member of New Prospect #2 Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Prospect #2 Baptist Church.
