Charter Internet, TV and Phone Service was out in the Centre area Tuesday afternoon, from about 12:20 until 6:18pm due to a severed fiber cable.
Those answering the service calls at Charter-Spectrum couldn’t tell us how long the service may possibly be out OR how many customers, including residential and businesses, in how many communities, were affected.
All they could tell us was the service will be back on when the problem is corrected.
When asked about a Public Relations Person who could update us on the situation, we were given an email address, and told that they didn’t have a phone number for that department; at any rate, the email address was to no avail because our internet service was out.
Businesses are so accustomed to operating with internet service, it was difficult to conduct business as usual in Centre Tuesday afternoon.
