Chase Ends With Suspect Being Arrested And Patrol Car Totaled In DeKalb County

A Jackson County man faces charges after authorities said he led them on a two-county chase. It ended in a crash that totaled a deputy’s patrol car.
It started in Jackson County when someone stole a woman’s car in Scottsboro Friday afternoon. Deputies drove from Section to Fort Payne.

DeKalb County Authorities tried to pull him over at Highway 35 and I-59. Authorities said he rammed two patrol cars before he was stopped.

Deputies arrested James Floyd. He faces numerous charges including receiving stolen property, DUI, and several traffic violations. Floyd is waiting for the judge to set bond.
