Chattooga County Sheriff and Emergency Personnel Respond to Bomb Threat at Summerville/Trion Walmart

A bomb threat led to the evacuation of customers and employees at the Summerville/Trion Walmart in Chattooga County Wednesday evening

The store re-opened following a thorough sweep of the building and grounds by members of  the Bomb Squad and law enforcement officials.

Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader says that the incident remains under investigation,  He also issued a special thank you to the Floyd County Police Department and Bomb Squad, the Summerville and Georgia Department of Corrections Firefighters, both the Summerville and Trion Police Departments and the GBI.
