Cherokee County 4-H Currently Taking Applications

CHEROKEE COUNTY 4-H IS CURRENTLY TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR 4-H VOLUNTEERS IN THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM AREAS:

4-H RiverKids – kayak paddling and water safety instruction

4-H Sportsfishing

4-H Junior Naturalist Program – environmental education and natural resources

4-H Animal Science

They are also currently looking for volunteers to start community or afterschool 4-H clubs for ages 9-18 in the following communities: Gaylesville, Sand Rock, Spring Garden, Centre, and Cedar Bluff.  They will only be accepting 2 4-H Volunteers per program area or per community club at this time.  All 4-H Volunteer Training is done online.

APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL JUNE 1ST and may be mailed or emailed to Mrs. Mirandi Watson, 4-H Foundation Regional Extension Agent.
