Cherokee County Adds Another to it’s List of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases; Statewide Number Stands at 6,750

Cherokee County has added another confirmed case of COVID-19 to its list which makes the current number 15 out of 141 people being tested.

Meanwhile in DeKalb County there have been 76 positive results out of 906 tests; following 1,126 tests in Etowah County there are 130 confirmed cases; and Calhoun County stands at 92 confirmed cases after a total of 1,189 people being tested there.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state has now reached 6,750 – with a total of 242 confirmed deaths resulting from the illness.

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, 927 people have been hospitalized thus far, and the number tested stands a 75,903
