Arrests, Cherokee County Alabama, Friday July 19th 2019

Cherokee County Arrest Files for Friday:

Charles Edward McKinney, age 49 and Michelle Lynn McCullough, age 38 – both of Ft Payne – were charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

John David Whitmire, 31 of Cedar Bluff – charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Attempt to Promote Prison Contraband 2nd Degree;

Tracy Allen Thompson, age 20 of Leesburg – Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Improper Lane Usage and Drivers License not in Possession;

Rudy Lee Mills, age 43 of Piedmont – Probation Violation;

Bryan Ray Hulsey, age 40 of Ft Payne – Driving while Suspended, Fleeing/Attempting to Elude, Driving on Wrong Side of Road, Reckless Driving, No Tag, No Insurance, No Helmet and Reasonable Prudent Speed Violation;

Summer Michelle Bright, age 42 of Piedmont – Failure to Appear on a prior charge of No Driver’s License;

And

Melissa Renae Bray, age 34 of Centre – Assault 3rd Degree.

These arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 114 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
