Cherokee County Arrest Files for Friday:
James Wallace Bishop, 36 of Centre, charged with four counts of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance: Methamphetamine; Heroin; Amphetamine; and Opium/Derivative, in addition to Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Theft of Property 1st Degree among other charges;
Amber Nicole Smith, 27 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;
Natalie Nicole Smith, 33 of Piedmont – was charged with Failure to Appear on prior charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
These arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Currently there are 69 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
