Cherokee County Authorities Arrest Three on Drug Charges Overnight

Drug Arrests November 3rdCherokee County authorities made three drug arrests overnight.

Lisa Amanda Bennett, age 32 of Piedmont, was charged with three counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

Samuel Lewis Bryant, age 79 from Piedmont was charged with two counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

and LaTrisha Rose Mobbs, age 28 of Cedar Bluff, was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mobbs was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center around 10:30 Sunday night with Bryant bring booked in just after 12:30 Monday morning, and Bennett being booked in just after 1:00am.

All three remain behind bars awaiting setting of bond.
