According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators and deputies are searching for a work release inmate who left the job site on Monday, October 16, 2017 at approximately 10:30 am. Jimmy Wayne Blair Jr., 40, left a construction site in Centre in a truck belonging to his employer, a 2003 Dodge 3500 flatbed, blue in color. Blair was in jail on property crimes.
