It was business as usual for the Cherokee County Board of Education On Thursday. The board approved an agreement with CED Mental Health Center, approved the minutes from the previous meeting and approved bids with E. Cornell Malone for reroofing projects at Sand Rock and Spring Garden Schools in the amount of $296,000.
Three items were declared as public works projects; Security Access Door at Cedar Bluff School, paving at Cherokee County Career & Tech School and fencing at Gaylesville School.
The board also approved to declare the lockers at Cherokee County High School as surplus property.
