The next meeting of the Cherokee County Board of Education is set for Tuesday (September 1st) at 6:00pm, taking place in the Central Board Office of East Main Street in Centre.

Items on the agenda include the Fiscal Year 2016 Budget Hearing; a Review of the Accounts Payable Report for August of 2015; approval of the Career Coach Salary Schedule presented at the July 21st (2015) meeting; approval to renew the ATBE Automobile Liability Coverage for Fiscal Year 2016; and approval to renew the ATBE General Liability/Errors & Omissions Coverage for Fiscal Year 2016; Personnel; Travel; and a Review of Job Postings in addition to any other business which may come before the board.

Again, that meeting is set for 6:00pm Tuesday in the Central Board Office and is open to the public.
