During the meeting, the 2020/2021 County Commission schedule was approved – approval was granted for purchase of a Mitel Phone System in the County Administration Building, at a cost of $48,579.66; approval was also given to hiring Melissa Rodriguez for the position of Motor Vehicle Clerk. The Commission also approved the East Alabama Regional Planning & Development Commission grant agreement for services for the elderly – that, for the period stretching from October 1st of this year (2020) through September 30th of 2021.
And – the McCords Fire Department will be receiving money through a 100% reimbursable grant:
That grant requires no matching funds.
The next meeting of the Cherokee County Commission is set for Monday, November 23rd at 5:00pm, taking place in the County Administration Building on the Cedar Bluff Road, Centre
