It is with a heavy heart that we have learned of the passing of our Probate Judge and friend, Kirk Day. Since announcing my candidacy for Coroner, Kirk has proved to be a true mentor and friend throughout the process.

Judge Day has proven to be a dedicated professional who has gone above and beyond to further the mission of the Coroner’s Office. He has helped with numerous cases through his office and always given the highest level of integrity and professionalism to each and every case. We appreciate his service to our country through the Armed Forces and his proven record of a public servant to our county.

His selflessness in serving our citizens should be emulated throughout all public offices.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Wayne and Barbara, Keith and Cindy, and the remainder of their family and the employees of the Probate Office.
