Cherokee County District Court Judge Wes Mobley Appointed As ‘Special Probate Judge’ By The Alabama Supreme Court

The Alabama Administrative Office of Courts received a request on Tuesday for a Special Probate Judge to be commissioned for Cherokee County. The formal request was made by the Honorable Judge Randal Cole of the 9th Judicial Circuit and Chief Clerk Renee Gossett of the Cherokee County Probate Office.

Pursuant to that request, Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Lyn Stuart Commissioned Cherokee County District Court Judge Wes Mobley to serve as ‘Special Probate Judge’ Judge Mobley will preside over the Judicial functions of the Probate Court of Cherokee County during the time in which Judge Day is absent.

Judge Mobley will also maintain his duties as District Court Judge of Cherokee County.
