Cherokee County EMA Director Seeking to Allow Additional Business Openings (Under Strict Guidelines)

Prior to the close of Tuesday morning’s COVID-19 News Conference, Cherokee County EMA Director Shawn Rogers shared some information of extreme interest to both local business owners and area residents.

He stressed, following a close analysis of the numbers, that Cherokee County has had fewer confirmed cases than surrounding counties – and, yes – fewer tests have been performed – but Cherokee County has also had a much lower percentage rate overall, which led to this:
