Cherokee County EMA Is Updating Their Hazard Mitigation Plan, Help Them Out By Taking A Short Survey

Every 5 years the Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency has to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan for Cherokee County. The last time the Hazard Mitigation Plan was updated was in 2015, so now it’s now time to update it again.

Things a being done a little different this time and they need your input.

Cherokee County EMA Director Shawn Rogers said that this plan is designed to allow the Cherokee County EMA and all municipalities within Cherokee County to identify all hazards and vulnerabilities within the county, especially those hazards that you feel may pose greater risks.

Below is a link with 10 questions. The Cherokee County EMA is asking you to help identify those risks.
